I POSTED LAST.

I have not logged on for a very long time and I am truly sorry about that, especially after the advice I have received from a lot of fantastic people, I have been reading the posts, mainly at work on nights, but with IT policys did not want to log in and leave a trail as it were,

First let me say a hearty congratulations to everyone who has got their IVA`s B.R`s or any other form of financial help sorted out so they can breath a sigh of relief and start to clear their debts and look to the future WELL DONE TO ALL.

I am just coming to the end of my first year in a few weeks, and wow has it flown by, I have been very lucky, not had any major problems at all, skipped the redundancies ( so Far ) 250 have gone in the last 5 months or so though, apart from a bonus last May, I have not received any extra money at all, and that was paid into my IVA within days -10% then 50% of remainder sent, My April payrise last year came in just after the IVA so that just went in with the 10% clause, hopefully the payrise this year will mean I can add a bit more to my IVA, and this will reset my 10% clause, hope this makes sense I know what I mean [:D].
I have even got myself a bit fitter too, I got a cycle through the cycle to work scheme, using last years payrise, so apart from the slight worry of the redundancy issue, I am the happiest I have been for a very very long time, My girlfriend has been amazing and very supportive, she suggested we go away for a little hol, and paid for it, on the understanding that when I am clear of the IVA I save up (that will be strange - money to save) the IVA payments and pay for a holiday of her choice big gulp there, So there you have it I am fitter sleep better and am a whole lot happier with life in general, and it all down to the advice from this forum, and Melanie and her team.

I am also hoping to get to Frugal Friends meeting as well (at last)

Take Care
Warmest Wishes to all
Mark

Hi Mark,

Nice to see you back and it is good to see that your IVA is running along smoothly at the moment.

It's always good to hear from people who are doing ok.

Good on your girlfriend for paying for a holiday for you as well.

We're still waiting to be told when and where the next FF meeting will be. No on has made a decision as yet.

Good luck to you and hopefully we'll all get a chance to meet at the next FF.
