Hi all, it has been 8 years now since we started our Iva. I haven't chased them up as much as I would like because my husband was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago and two major operation he now breaths though is neck no voice box but we think it may have come back just waiting to go back into hospital sorry to go on . We just would like closure and peace, last time I spoke with GT they said it was the ppi that they was waiting for, but reading the forum again it looks like where been given the run around . Will we get to know what ppi they have received money from

Hi, Oh my 8 years is too long for this to be hanging over you without conclusion. Your husband is first in your life I agree and his health and your happiness together is paramount. I would suggest a strongly worded email telling them all of this and tell them you want closure NOW so you can move on.

I'm hoping Karol who posts on the forum may be able to help you and escalate this for you.

You could always try emailing Karol at ivacustomerservices@uk.gt.com and ensure that "IVA Forum" is in the subject line. Might be worth a try.

Let's hope that your IP is able to give you clear and definitive advice about how long it is going to take them to close your case. How long is it actually since you made your last payment?

There is something quite wrong here, about a case having to be kept open for so long. I really do hope they manage to resolve this for you soon Marie.

Hi. Use ivacustomerservices@uk.gt.com and put only "IVA Forum" in the subject line.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

The system at their end should be that those mails with "IVA Forum" as the subject get passed to Karol for her attention. Sometimes she will pass the mail on to the person who should be dealing with that particular aspect, but, in my experience, she generally replies fairly promptly.

Hi all, just a quick update I have emailed GT two times since my last visit first E-mail said we should get our CC letter by mid July. Now other E-mail says end of July. What can I do I put Iva forum when I send email but just keep getting different people replying. Why can,t Karol ring us at wits end. I know I keep saying it but 8years is a long time for this to be hanging over your head when I need to focus on my husband as he is so ill
