Having had an initial chat with Tina and Melanie last week I was feeling tons better now I've decided to go along the IVA route. On Saturday I opened a new account with the co op (did it over the phone and was given a decision right away) Unfortunately the timing isn't good as my pay had already gone into my current account and has alreaady been taken up with bills, motgage, overdarft etc. I haven't yet received my new account details so I can't yet notify my employers of my new details. I'm beginning to cancel my direct debits and I've already had Egg inform me my payment hadn't gone through. I told her I was enquiring about an IVA and she was incredbly nice and asked me to keep them informed of my decision and who will be representing me asap. I know not everyone I speak to will be this understanding. Strange though it may seem I feel a little better having actually had to speak to one of my creditors.

To Melanie- I'm sorry last nights e mail probably made little sense! I'm just waiting for written confirmation about one outstanding amount before I give you the final list!

Great news. Glad it is all coming together and that you have got a new account with the Co-op

You are with a good firm, good luck.

I was a little confused! But don't worry, all will become clear in a couple of days.
