This is terrible - do you have any details regarding this firm or individual?
Try and get everything back from them. Have you given them any money or credit card payment?
You need to see or discuss matters with a proper professional.
You need to have a chat with an IP and give him/her details of all your personal and financial circumstances and particulars.
Visit www.iva.com for reviews on firms and practitioners and select one or two to have a chat with.
They will give you the appropriate advice and it is free.
Let us know how you get on.
*David - I've deleted the link as we don't want to advertise this sort of firm on here.*

I have heard of Gill Wrigley - this was the practitioner/supervisor that set up my IVA. The company this person is associated with is Tenon Debt Solutions (formally Haines Watts) in Manchester. Should I be worried about this person as I have been paying money to them for just over 2 years now...
Yes, they do keep in touch regularly. How do you find them? I don't think they are particularly sympathetic or understanding. I haven't heard anything back about my 2 year review and I sent all the paperwork off 2 months ago!
its a funny thing but i have just had aphone call from someone called helen from tenon debt solutions who says she has all my paperwork, when i said i was panicing as the contactacs for goodbye2debts did not seem to excist, she didnt seem that surprised ,has she been reading this forum. i just hope i am not jumping out of the frying pan into the fire
Most important thing is to feel comfortable with your IP. I would visit www.iva.com for some reviews and contact another couple of IPs and see who you feel happier with. David and Melanie both come highly recommended by the forum.
IVA.co.uk The best place for debt advice. Thanks to Melanie Giles, David Mond, David and J (Elv5) Kallis, Dand, Skippy, Andy Davie
You may find that they have been monitoring the forum!
If you are really not happy with them then I do suggest that you try someone else. The professionals on here come highly recommended.
You will be with a firm for a long time so it is advisable that you are totally confident with them.

I know Gill Wrigley and don't panic. She sits on the Debt Resolution Board with personal responsibilty to creditor liason. She is a good egg!
