When we made enquiries, prior to IVA, we were told,
(by CCCS and DFD), based on our level of debt that we would be looking at approx £300 a month minimum, IVA was finalised at £220.
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.

Hi rollercoaster

I am so glad that you gave it a lot of thought and didn't rush into agreeing the uplift, and you obviously think you can afford this extra sum of money.
I hope things settle and you can now sort out your DMP.

Good luck
Emma xx
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

big thanks to everybody, and i will keep u all up to date on developments. i knew that i would find it easier to budget as i grew up in a low income family but knew OH would find it harder and thought i would have to constantly nag him. however this morning we just went to look at shed that was advertised for free in the local newspaper as my youngest wants one for his birthday. My OH would never have entertained the thought of getting something for free in the past, but he was more enthusiastic than our son, and was planning how he was going to decorate it for him using offcut carpet and left over paint. think we gonna be ok.
