They really should have made sure your account was already set up Emma, I hope you call them this morning and inform them what has happened, tell them due to the proposal being sent before your account was set up they have frozen your money, can they call them and help you get something to live on.
Took The plunge and made the call, changed our family life and we have never been happier. Debt free and wont go back..... IVA was by far the best thing we ever did to teach us the real value of Family and money

I might get it back because it was not over drawn and not part of iva! I won't hold my breath

They may well be using this to offset against your loan with them which they are entitled to do prior to the IVA being agreed.

Did you manage to speak to your IVA company Emma and ask for their help/input as they seem to be partly to blame here. If they had waited a little longer or even asked you first...

Emma, how are you managing now for food? It's a horrid situation but you must be able to eat. We may have some suggestions if you're still struggling for food
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Is there a food bank near you Emma? You may be able to get something to tide you over for the weeks to come with their help?

Emma I was going to suggest a food bank too, they are for genuine cases of hardship and I consider this to be a genuine case. Do investigate. x

I'm in Lincolnshire so if you're anywhere near me I'll feed you, not saying it'll be the best you've ever had but it's food and wholesome. xx

Lesley's offer is probably the kindest thing that anyone has offered to do.
