Payplan are an IP firm - and sorry as I am an IP myself I am not allowed to recommend other firms!

Payplan is an IP firm and they are ok - my IVA is with them.

The professionals who post on this site are also highly recommended and you would get good advice from speaking to one of them.

Whilst Melanie and I are IP's and we have our own businesses we obviously don't recommend competitors. That is why we suggest when looking for an IP you should visit www.iva.com and see reviews on several. You should select one or two and have a chat with them - when you are comfortable select whom you think you are happy with. Good luck.

Hi Steven - if BR is the route you go down, please be assured the relief when its in place will be enormous. Will it be you and your wife going BR or just you?

As fro the car, do you need it for work? If so you may find you can keep it. I found the official receiver in our area very fair and the process wasn't as daunting as I feared.

Please keep us updated and ask as many questions as you like. xx

Thank you david, I have spoken to viki from vincent bound and she is amzing, no judging or nothing and very heart warming lady, so atthis moment in time i cant thank here enough, i have started the ball rolling though in regards to changing my banck account moving tax credits etc..over to my wifes account, the nextthing i need to do is change my wages over, then the direct debits such as gas electric etc....once they are in place i will no longer pay my debts as i cant afford them so BR is the only option, and after speaking to a few IPs on here and on the telephone its seams that BR is the only way forward as my outgoings are more than what i bring home each month.

hello swans girl, it will just be me going BR, all the debts are in mine name including the car, The car however is on HP which i didn't know untill 3 days ago, but over the last 42 months i have paid nearly 9k with it, with only 18 months left, the car now is problay on valued at around £1700 which is mad to think, i would need it for work as somethimes i work in other places, also taking the children to school,

The thing is though i am willing to keep with my payments for the car if the allow me, as my main debts are credit cards and bank loan etc...

Jan i have been thinking solid for the last 2 days about it all, i would have never even though BR would be an option, but so glad that i have spoken to you with whats gone on,

i think keeping it all in and trying to struggle each month was not the way forward, but this is, to have money spare to go food shopping for my kids, and to pay for school trips without worrying is the most happiestthing i think i could ever do, silly at the time with greed having palstic sill cards and spending on them like theres no tomorrow,

but that has changed now no more spending

:) hopefully will set send my payment off now to get the court order in place then hopefully the future will be great, being in this situation i can understand the stress and pain it causes familys

THANK YOU EVERYONE FROM MY HEART
steven osman

You are in safe hands with Viki, she is very sympathetic, understanding and helpful.
