Thank you for your support its much appreciated.
However today EE have stopped my Internet, when I rang up to find out why because the account is in my hubby's name. And he's not able to clarify that it's me etc
Even though I did what they requested in sending a copy of the death certificate and clarifying my details.
It still wasn't good enough for me to remain online grhhh x
So bare with me if anyone sends me any advice etc I will catch my Internet wherever I can for now...

EE are not doing themselves any favours at the moment - a friend of mine has the broadband service and they were telling him that he hadn't paid when he had. The complaints number is out of service so he went onto the facebook page and put a right rant on there about them and he was eventually able to get it sorted. I hope you can as well.

Threaten (via FB) to report them to Ofcom - my friend did and within 30 minutes he had a result and some compensation.

EE say you should ring them and they will email collections!! I have told them what you have done.

They have replied to me and said that you should ring and, if no joy there, you should make a complaint. The chap who has emailed me is called Chris.
I hope you don't mind me doing this - just want to get this sorted for you as you don't need any extra stress.

I don't mind at all but both of the ladies I spoke to yesterday (both Lauras) said after speaking to their managers there was nothing that could be done.
However I will ring now and ask for Chris ty [:D]

Just come off the phone I spoke to a guy called Josh, he said too many Chris's to know who the person was who emailed you back.
Josh spoke to customer services dept who told him what I was told yesterday was correct. When the registration dept picks up my email tomorrow it will take 10 days before the account will clear and be transferred into my name.
He then apologised and said there was nothing he could do. (I wasn't told yest it would be ten days etc)
As if I needed anymore buzzing In my head its a bit ridiculous but ty for trying Kallis3 much appreciated.

That is really bad - if you are on FB then go onto the EE page and put it on there. I am sure someone will get back to you and also threaten them with the ICO!
If there is anything else I can do then please let me know.

Well I've typed my letter, sorted my bank statements and filled in my expenditure all ready to send back recorded delivery tomorrow to DFD.
Fingers crossed guys, I will keep you posted as far as I can Internet permitting x
