I had a wonderful wobbly week down in Dorset, the weather was stunning, and so was the neighborhood, much akin to the Hollywood Hills, lots of enormous houses and beautiful gardens. All empty of course. I managed to plonk myself into the crystal clear waters with a glass of wine and the newspaper without drowning at all. I am but bronzed.

All creditors have stopped action. I have had to cancel the BR appt in favour of ATOS. Some dude is gonna come round next week to do this Will and AD business, bosh. There is a lot of goings on behind the scenes, stuff I don't need to worry about anymore, vague I know. I might get a dollop of PPI back to do with what I so choose. I've decided that if I expire, i'm going up in a firework display off Table Mountain in Cape Town.

In all I've been left alone, just like that. The only thing I have to do is the BR, and be discharged.

But I don't consider myself lucky at all.

Regards to all.

Hi Quark, nice to see you again.

Glad you've had a fab holiday - sounds brilliant and also sounds as though you have been around Bournemouth and/or Poole? I love the houses there.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is ATOS? Don't forget that with BR you may well have to pay back the PPI!

I hope you're not thinking of leaving us yet Quark!

Quark, you'd better not be going anywhere yet! I'm glad you've had a good holiday and that you had better weather than we're currently having on ours!

ATOS run the work capability assessment for the DWP. The organisation that finds poor people with no arms and legs, "fit for work". It's on the day I was heading up into town to file, and I can't cancel it as my financial support will be cut off. I didn't know PPI has to be paid across if awarded. I will keep some to pay for my funeral. At least it's done and out the way. I'm sure an OR would be fine with that. Jan, I stayed in Sandbanks, was lovely. Skip I hope the weather improves on your holidays. Having the gradual run ups to part 1 of surgery now, back in a fortnight for another assessment and Echo.I met someone my age last time, and his valves were literally finished, he had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever apart from fatigue, which he put down to getting over a chest infection. They admitted him from clinic and 12 hours later he was recovering in intensive care. Interesting how different we all are eh ?

I thought it might be there! My stepdaughter used to live in Poole and when we stayed with her we used to love going for a ride round there to look at the houses.

Thanks for the explanation, I hadn't a clue who they were.

I hope you get it all sorted out soon Quark, it's been going on for long enough now and you need to be able to chill out and relax.

Quark - Sandbanks is a stunning and very expensive place - they used to have a nudist beach there, somewhere to get that all over tan and to watch the wobbly bits :-)

Isn't Sandbanks one of most expensive places to live in England?

It's called Studland ( phnarr ) And no, I did not want to tan all over and watch bits waving about all over the place, mind you I did see something that turned my hair grey, it was a massive shock, though I'm over it now. Most of the houses on Sandbanks are empty or for sale at the moment, though they are stunning to look at.

Wish I could afford one of them!

Do agree that I wouldn't be wanting to watch bits waving about! We went to a nudist beach once in the South of France (not knowingly!) and as most of the people there were well into old age it was not a pretty sight!!!!!!!

Ha ha ha, i saw pensioner's bikini bottoms go one way, and her lulu the other. I was almost incontinent, or in your case, intercontinental.
