I have been in an IVA for six years £381 per month. £27032 owed. I have paid back the money owed and have no arrears.
Been told by Aperture I have to remortgage for a further £8000 I have equity in my house I didnt six years ago.
I have just received my annual report which says no arrears, paid in full and a specific section which states no equity in property. This was dated the 9th July.
Although you have paid the original debt in your eyes, the fees come out first. so some of the debt, as well as possible stautory interest is still outstanding.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
