Has anyone read the article in the Mail on Sunday today about the new 'Survey' the government is setting up?

Basically, 200,000 homes a year will be visited and you will be asked a series of quite searching questions about your sex life, income, family. The questions are very personal and they will record your name etc., but this will be removed when they put the records onto their 'secure' computer.

Fortunately this survey is voluntary, so I, for one, will not be doing it. It's getting more like Big Brother here every day.

You can just see the headines in a few years can't you - millions of names go missing from government computer!

Do they really think anyone is going to answer questions as personal as that honestly? I would refuse to take part, even if it wasn't voluntary. I don't think we've got to the stage of using thumbscrews and the rack to get people to talk yet!

Too right! They have even admitted that they know people won't be honest about things, so what a waste of time, and an awful waste of taxpayers money!

Gosh! Have we taxpayers had to pay for those?!!!!!!!! They would have to give me a lot more than that to get me to take part, but if they send me the stamps I will be using them!

Hi Trees57

Nothing as yet - we are sitting here on tenterhooks at the moment. Be glad when they have phoned either way
