i have had calls from creditors wanting there money just before i went into iva and after it is not good i tried talking but got no where. i found the most effective way to stop them calling was to blow a whistle down the phone. most pound shops sell whistles so they are affordable. and it worked for me after u give them a short sharp burst on the whistle they soon put phone down and never called me back.

Thankfully the creditor calls do eventually stop. At least once the IVA is started you know you are protected and they can do nothing to you.
