Yes, we all had a good time and no debt hangover - all within budget!! (Be a bit tight for a few days!)

You know, its strange, we used to spend thousands at Christmas - this year MUCH less - BUT a great time all the same [:)]

I have to say, it has been great to manage without the dreaded plastic, that made many of our lives awful - although, nobody held a gun to my head to say "borrow borrow borrow" - it was nevertheless too easy and probably still is from what I have seen in the shops over the past weeks!

If I live to be 100, I will have learnt from the past year and look forward to an even better 2010.

All I want now is some kind soul to employ me - C.V. can be provided upon request!! (joke)

hey all,happy christmas to everyone.it has been different this year,every present bought with hard earned cash.makes you wonder how many people will be in our boat due to christmas spending.

I would think there are a fair few wondering how they'll repay their Christmas Credit spending, have to admit it's a great feeling knowing in January there are no bills other than utility and the IVA payment for me.

I've just been for a wander around the town, the sales are in full force and a scarf I purchased for my daughter for a gift is now half price, I didn't look at other things, how annoying, next year Chrismtas can be on the 28th December in my house....only joking honest!

People are still buying loads...

Will be nipping to M&S for some underwear though before the VAT goes back up!
