Melanie the same applies when you are 41 and 71!! I've spent the whole of Xmas and New Year in bed with the flu and an ear infection and my mum was so poorly with it she nearly had to have the doctor visit. I was in Manchester for Xmas and due back at work last Friday but I had to see my old family doctor last Thurs and have an appt with my own GP tomorrow. I think I already had a strain of flu that mutated with a different strain when I went up North. Either that or bird flu!!. All I know is it has completely knocked me sideways and I'm sleeping a lot through the day hence the reason I'm on here at this time.
