Chances are with the timing, peak leave for Christmas and staff off with covid, HMRC wouldn't have seen the letter / email from the IVA firm in time to deal with it which may have gone in your favour from what I read about them.
Welcome to the journey, I hope it goes smoothly for you and believe me the time flies. I just paid my 48th payment, 12 left to go. Never been so excited about seeing a direct debit going out as that one because the countdown has really started for me now.
Only 12 left, Mrs B ?? Time has certainly flown !
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

That's amazing - congrats! The temptation to begin counting down from day 1 is quite high but I'll just hold out - my dream of debt-free living by 40 is actually possible! I hope these last 12 months go quickly for you

Haha I like this!!
I'm assuming my HMRC debt will drop off my gov gateway account at some point so I can make future payments as I should? All kinds of niggly questions popping up now!
