Just reflecting on the fact that my countdown marker is showing that I've passed the halfway point. Last year was a real slog with so many unexpected expenses, quite depressing at times (approx £6000) but I'm still here to tell the tale. I often look on here and notice that others who started roughly the same time as me have finished their IVA's with a f&f and must admit I feel envious but also happy for them. However, the point of this post is to say to all the newest IVAers that the IVA route, if conducted efficiently and with tlc, is a godsend. Good luck to everyone on this journey x

Always good to read a positive despite having setbacks. Like you my IVA didn't always run smoothly but with a good IP behind you, you can hopefully work through it like I did and finish after 60 months.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
