Hi All

We have just had a great gym open up at work wich is £17.50 a month ....do you think if i cut back on something else in my budget i could join. Normally i wouldn't be worried but this will come directly out of my pay packet and show on my pay slip ... bearing in mind i am going to propose finishing 2 earys early by paying back everything do you think they would mind?

xx

I dont see that it would make any difference if you save it from elsewhere in your budget. Best thing is to ask your Ip and make sure. Enjoy getting fit thats a good deal.

I think it will be ok. If you are taking it from somewhere else, then I can't see what the problem would be x Enjoy getting fit. I went for a jog last night, and it was hard work.. had to walk half of the way, i don't think you realise how unfit you are sometimes

Well i stopped smoking 4 months ago, and since that i've put two stone on, which isn't bad, as I'm now only 9 stone 2, but i need to tone up, so i thought i would take up jogging, as its free and good for toning. My God, I nearly died last night, it's so hard ! I felt like i was still on the fags !

I think it's brilliant. I've never liked Davina much but she's quite good on this. I like the DVD because it's divided into 20 minutes sections. I usually try and do 2 at a time and when I've done it properly and followed my diet (i.e. not recently!) it has worked.

Just seen the "Wii Fit" game advertised a bit pricey thou. Looks really good for a workout. My mom bought daughter a Wii for her birthday last year she (or should I say we) play on it loads it certainly burns the calories.

I've just joined the local hotel gym/spa.Will have to cut down on something else to attend and I do get a substancial discount for NHS employment. It never occured to me to ask.Thought that as long as I don't have credit, pay my bills the rest of the money was mine to do as I pleased? Since I have joined I have felt less tense and more naturally tired.I swim and use the spa/sauna/steam room bit. It's so relaxing and only busy at weekend when they have more guests.I think it's been a really good thing for me to do and was really actively encouraged to join by other forum members when I was really ****ed off.Worked a treat!
