Hi all. I haven't been on this forum for a while so I apologise if this has been covered.

Finished IVA finally with GT last year, closure took a year longer because of this PPI mess with EIC. Despite the pay outs that were sent to EIC it seems like GT knew nothing about anything that was going on (crazy).

Today I get a letter saying that PPIs - ALL OF THEM - will be reinvestigated by another company! Will this ever actually end? I feel ill every time I get another letter from them. Anyone else had this? What about amounts the banks already refunded?

Oh dear not heard of this personally myself but will keep this bumped up for another to comment on. This seems highly unfair.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

If you have your certificate then you should not be too concerned. If they want to keep investigating PPI and it does not affect you then let them get on with it. You have no more obligations to the IVA and none of this should impact in any way on your credit file.

They have finally cottoned on that the previous company was, let's say, "inefficient" and are getting SHL to check previous claims. Added to the the FO has said that many previous claims had been refused incorrectly and should be revisited.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I had previous PPI investigated with GT through Claims Brokers which came to nothing 2years ago.

Then a couple of weeks ago and I had another letter but from SHL asking me to sign letters to instruct another PPI claim. I signed them just to move things along and I hope this will not hold up my CC which I hope to have within 6 months
IVA commenced April 2009 and completion certificate issued on the 25th August 2015..

PPI still on-going

I'm there....
