Global Vantage Limited.

I keep getting calls from the above company, about 5 a day. They leave an automated message saying that it is extreemely important that I contact them.

Does anyone know who this company is? I am presuming that it is, or attached to one of my creditors.

I am not yet in an IVA but have my creditors meeting set for
6th November 2009.
I know the calls are coming from an International number, I think maybe a call centre in India.
I have already spoken to MBNA, but I suppose that will not stop them chasing me for money.

jtomo- I have an MBNA debt and I have RMA pestering on their behalf. I seem to remember Global Vantage once before when I had a late payment, pretty sure it was was someone in Mumbai reading off a card!

12 days to go until the 6th, try to ignore the automated calls.

as Andy says don't bother returning their call, November 6th isn't far away.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thanks to all for your replies.

I think I am more sressed by this IVA process and the waiting to find out if it will be approved than I have ever been.
Fingers crossed it will all be over soon and I can learn to chill out and not dread the phone calls and letters.

Once the IVA is accepted, the calls will dwindle down and the relief you feel is immense as then you can talk to the creditors telling them you're in an IVA etc., etc.,

Global Vantage are a debt collection agent usually appointed by MBNA and operate out of Dehli in India, be very careful with them,
I had my IVA approved in Sept and Global Vantage have all the info on their system but this month they phoned and offered me an unsecured loan to clear all my creditors,
now if I accepted their offer my IVA would have failed under the terms & conditions of the IVA but global would have secured the debt on behalf of their client MBNA and would have also been awarded their fee from MBNA for recovering my dept, and this is all they are interested in.
they try all the tricks of the trade, telling you your cedit file would be affected, you will recieve a CCJ, you will have calls from bailiffs etc etc, Dont listen to them.
best thing to do with them it try and learn some Indian swear words, it's the only thing that gets their attention,
Their are some genuine dept collection agents who will listen to you and offer a sympathetic ear to your situation but Global Vantage are not one of them.

They're all similar in the call centres - on commission, and I imagine in India they are on a real pittance, so they will try anything to get money out of you.

Just ignore them.
