Hi all, I'm getting married next year and have been lucky enough to have been given £1000 towards the wedding, does this have any effect on my iva??

Hi and congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. If this is a gift I would assume it will be ok to receive it, I've received gifts of a holiday (via my hubby).
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi, congratulations from me as well. I think.that you will be fine if it's a gift.

Keep it very separate from your other banking and you should be fine.
