Looks like thursday will be a double trolley day for the Xmas shop.

It's Asda, local butcher and Tesco for me!!

Would not want a four bird roast.

It's a good offer but I can't say it appeals to me, and I know for a fact my family wouldn't eat it!

We're having a capon on Christmas Day and probably gammon on Boxing Day. Other than that there will not be a lot extra in the house as it won't be eaten.

We tried the three bird and enjoyed it, will give the four bird a go, got nothing to lose, something for everyone.[:)]

I've already bought our Christmas dinner and put it in the freezer as I refuse to go shopping near Christmas! We've got a turkey breast followed by raspberry roulade. I don't like Christmas pudding, mince pies or Christmas cake so there won't be any of that and I buy very little for Christmas that I wouldn't buy the rest of the year - I don't see the point.

I love duck, but only the aromatic crispy variety from the Chinese! I've never had goose - isn't it very fatty? I know my mum buys goose fat roast potatoes every year for Boxing Day and I don't like them as they are so greasy - I think I've talked her into getting Aunt Bessie's this year!

I like crispy duck but not the 'normal' sort. Goose always sounds greasy and my hubby does his own spuds and they are to die for!!

Capon with stuffing will do it for us!

Dave will make our roasties on Christmas Day - he's now got a halogen oven and it does the best roasties I've ever had, and it doesn't use any fat.

All this talk of food is making me hungry!

Yum - my fave subject! We're getting a turkey crown and having the biggest roast we can cook. Or, if like normal in our household, we'll both fall asleep in front of the TV and have cheese on toast when we wake up!!

We have my parents stopping with us so it is a traditional Christmas lunch and then daughter and her fiance will be here Boxing Day (I'll be at work unfortunately!) so there won't be much wasted.

No falling asleep allowed in this house until after Christmas lunch!!

We have saved almost £200 at our local mini mart in a Christmas club started last January, that will cover our 'indulgent' shopping, everything else we buy will be the same as any other week.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues
