Hi Geoff. Yes, of course most ( if not all) of us gamble. I know I doi it every time I cross the road, or for the more adventerous, roast a chicken!

Everyone has their own opinion and a discussion is merely that, a discussion. We will not all agree ( what a boring old world that would be), but we can agree to differ.

You haven't been tarred and feathered. There are greater troubles in this world to raise the blood pressure.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I might add, Geoff, that, regarding your friends feeling that they are under IVA surveillance: I think, at some stage in most IVA's this is a common, but fleeting, feeling.

We are just not used to discussing finance and do not appreciate being put under the financial microscope at the best of times, more so when feeling fragile".

Helper I can see where you are coming from and so long as you DO NOT GAMBLE it is free money for the taking by exploiting a loophole.

Unfortunatly as I've said if you are insolvent then it is very likely that the exchanges will close your account.

I agree with everyone on here too, gambling is a mugs game. What the OP is proposing though is THE ONLY way to guarantee a profit whatever happens by playing one bet off against the other and using the bookies money in terms of introductory bonus to make it work. This is not gambling in that case, just exploiting a loophole.

Just don't fall in to the trap of gambling though.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

For a non gambler one seems very knowledgeable about this subject and I am not really sure such depth of detail was required.

What caused your friends insolvency?

Remember that most on here are working b***** hard to payback as much as they can afford and often struggle from month to month with pennies to spare so the idea of betting brings up the feelings and attitudes you have witnessed.

I take it the sites accepting the bets take a commission from all bets, because you dont get anything for nothing in this life??
