I want to make a F&F offer on my IVA. I've got 23 months left and pay 300 a month. Ive offered 5500. Do you think this will be accepted. I cant get any more funds so this will be the only offer I can make.

My only concern is that I have always made my payments on time and have no arrears so maybe they will reject based on a good record. The reason I want to pay if off is because I am trying for a baby and when I go maternity next year (hopefully I will be pregnant by then)my payments will have to reduced or the length of the IVA will need to be increased.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance

I don't know if this would be acceptable or not. Where are the funds coming from?

Personally, I would hang on until such time as you become pregnant and need to go on maternity leave. I'm sure a full and final would be accepted then.

I think your offer would have a better chance if you were actually pregnant now rather than planning to be, but creditors may be minded to take your money now especially if there can be a saving in IP fees to counter the shorter payment.

Good luck - with everything!

So do you think I should leave it? The money is coming from my family.

The offer is around 1200 short of the full amount.

Its not just pregnancy - its a threat of redundancy. Its not 100% but its on the cards. We are a small company and 2009 wasn't a great year.

oh im stuck now...............

Take Melanie's advice - she knows what she is talking about more than I do!

Run it past your IP. I think if redundancy is on the cards it may be looked at more favourably.
