Hi all,

I've posted here before and had very helpful advice with regard to making a F&F offer to Debt Free Direct.

I went through the process from about March time, and made a full and final settlement at the beginning of July this year (believe it was about the 7th).

However, to this date I have still not received a completion certificate that I can forward to the Credit Reference Agencies. I was told originally that it would take 2-3 months, which would have been up until October. Despite repeated calls to DFD, they keep telling me that they were waiting for one of my creditors to make a formal claim, which they hadn't done, and so the paperwork had been passed back to the IP to review in order for them to close the IVA.

I am calling pretty much every week now, and get put through to the same person who just seems annoyed that I'm calling them and promises to let me know as soon as the IP has signed off on the paperwork, but this just doesn't happen.

Does this sound normal? Is there anything else I can do to sort this out and get some closure?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy

Try emailing your IP directly

http://www.insolvency-service.co.uk/newipsearch.htm

If you click on that link you will find the email address.

Hubbys certificate took about 4 months, he was given the same reason as you have been given.
