Full and Final agreed today

Well...at 12 noon today we heard from our IVA manager that our Full and Final offer had been accepted....it has taken me all afternoon to actually believe it.!!

After three years of a relatively smooth IVA with only a small hiccup at last review in September it is unbelievable to think and grasp that we have reached the end of this chapter in our lives.

We feel so blessed to have had someone give us a third part offer of money to close the IVA and in just over two weeks our IVA company has called a variation meeting and the meetings and voting were all sorted by this morning.

So.....all credit and thanks to Michael Peoples and the team at McCambridge Duffy.....who have walked every step of the way with us in last 38 months....and I cant believe how helpful Michael has been...He first suggested we try for this only a short while ago and almost daily has emailed us and talked us through each detail and stage and kept us informed and is celebrating with us I am sure in Ireland this evening.

I am mindful of everyone else on the forum who may still be working their way through their IVA or waiting for their creditor meeting and wish them all the very best and certainly would recommend McCambridge Duffy to all who may still be at the enquiry stage. I am also thinking of all those who are worrying about Synergi .

My personal thanks also got to the experts and friends who held my hand through all the worry and stress and supported and encouraged me and to those we met personally at the Frugal Friends meetings.

For us...we still have the anxiety of wondering if hubby will still have a job as redundancy is still being talked about...but at least we dont have to have the added stress of the IVA and we can enter 2010 debt free...

Great news. I remember talking to you at a Frugal Friends meeting last year when you were having one or two difficulties with the IVA, and it is great to see that you can now put all of this behind you and move on.
