Hi,
I'm just wrapping up divorce proceedings but have accumulated approx 11000 credit card debt because of all the issues over the previous 12 months. I don't want to do an IVA and I can arrange to pay this debt off, however it will help me a great deal if I can get a freeze on the interest in the meantime. How can I do this?

The easiest and quickest way to do this is simply to talk to the creditors and ask them. They might just do it and accept pro-rata payments.

alternatively (particularly if you are worried about talking to your creditors) you could go semi-formal and enter into a DMP and let the debt-manager talk to the creditors and share the monthly payment across the creditors. Many companies offer such schemes. As my company is one of them, ethically I cannot recommend you to choose any one in particular.
