I found this forum by accident probably a bit over a year ago and boy im glad i did.
I never slept, i used to sit up all night reading on here. Sometimes posting very early hours and always getting a reply from Ang (aguise)
I was an absolute mess, i was so down i was probably imagining problems that perhaps werent really there.
This forum got me through the bad times and made me feel much stronger and far better informed.
We offered a F&F after advice and support we were given here and eventually had it accepted in december.
I'm still here now and probably always will be.
I have come across some brilliant people and "friends" on here.

Who ever created this forum.......you really are a life and sanity saver so thank you [:D]

Can i be an armchair IP now ? [:D][:D][:D]

Michael.I was so, so pre occupied at first.I didn't know about the forum when my IVA was going through.I could barely lift my head up.I had some very bleak thoughts. They were just thoughts though. No plans and no intent. But the fact they were there scared me.I cried all the time.I coped at worked and cried again as soon as I could.I didn't sleep and I could not be attentive to anything.Even when it was approved I felt over whelmed and very anxious all the time.It really does pass.It does get better.I think about it every day, but I also think about the fact I have got some control again.I have a budget which is far higher than I used to have because I was paying all my salary to creditors.I promise it gets better.Keep posting and getting some support.Ring Melanie. She sounds very supportive and very human.Bless you.cat

I found this forum last year in January. I posted under a different name for a couple of weeks but wasn't ready to accept the inevitable. When things started to go drastically wrong at the end of last year this was the first place I thought of to come for help and support. I dont post every day and but I do drop on every day to see how everyones getting on. I haven't quite got to the stage where I feel confident to offer advice but if there was ever a time when I felt that I could offer real support to someone then I would. There seem to be so many people on here who do that effortlessly.

I wish I had made a blog and I have considered copying all my posts into a blog since the beginning of this year so that I and anyone who is interested could follow my journey to bankcruptcy. From desperation to relief.

Love you all and cant wait to meet some of you next month x

I started posting at the beggining of October 2006. It was a different place then. Nowhere near as many members and no Melanie. It was as friendly and helpfulas it is today, we gave each other support and advice.

Micheal, I was in the same state as you back then. I couldnt stop crying, I didnt know how on earth I was going to survive. You will have some bad days, sometimes debt can be so heavy, its crushing but hopefully it will lift gradually and you will feel much lighter. As each day passes, youre one step nearer to freedom. Dont be too hard on yourself, its a very black place to be at times, how can you be on top of the world right now????

Take care of yourself and remember, youre moving forward, even if it doesnt feel like it today.

I've been posting since October 2006, just before my IVA was accepted. I wish I'd found the forum before I started the process though!
