Karin, I check my bank account every day, buy the cheapest of everything, and only spend on food petrol and the dreaded cigs. When I get my Maestro card out to pay for shopping am taken aback that there are no other cards in there. Think my middle name should be scrooge!!

Must admit I'm not too bad with checking the bank, mainly because it doesn't get used. The savings/contingency account does but only for sudden expense like calpol tonight for daughter.
I have however, a notebook to write down what I spend my housekeeping on. I wanted to make sure that I am keeping within my weekly amounts and find this the best way. Its so easy to go through the week then look in my purse and think what on earth did i spend that one.

I actually still have plenty of plastic in my purse - debit card, AA card, prepayment card, loyalty cards! Almost as many as I used to have!

I check my bank a couple of times a week now, and that's usually only if I need to get anything different and just want to make sure there is enough still in there to cover it.

Sounds nice Helen - give you something to look forward to for next year.

I don't need anymore clothes, but I must admit to still buying them when I can, especially in the sales!

We need stuff doing in the house as well - number one priority first though is replacing the lawn at the back - the dogs have killed it and the bad weather has turned it into a quagmire. It looks dreadful!

Let's bypass spring and go straight to summer!

I love spring, and Helen is right, the weather is often better then than it is in the summer. I can't wait for the light nights as everything seems much better then.

I still check my bank most days and I love store 21 too Helen, worst thing they did put it in my town, I'm in there most days! Don't always buy I hasten to add but for the price the quality is good x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
