Oh lisa they sounds lovely, you lucky things, will have to add you on FB and nosey any pics you've got LOL.

Jan, thats why I couldn't afford for DD to do them, though as a single one off she'd love it. I just need to find a reputable stable with the right insurance in the area. One of the teachers at school has a horse but she said that not many of the ones around us have the right cover and she wouldn't trust them. Hers is too far away and no way I would impose to ask if we could go see it, she's not that sort of interacting teacher LOL

Thanl you for your replies. Helen hope you are feeling better. x

We have been talking the past few weeks about whether we will be a bit scared having all the spare money - and as you say trying to decide what to do with it. There are a couple of things that we need almost right away - like a new car. But we are trying to put some contingency away to go towards that and will probably trade in our old car too. What we don't want to do is go down the credit line almost immediatley. I know that sometimes Dunctons is mentioned on here for people who have had ivas, but we are against that from the beginning.
I would also love to go back to being a 2 car family. I miss us both having our independance and not relying on the other. But there is the house to decorate and we are off on hls next october so the first couple of months will be used to finish paying for it and for spending money.

Again thank you for your replies. x
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

Sincerely hope it all works for you Skint. I often think about life beyond the IVA and know I'm not ready for it yet, don't want to sound negative but I'm a little nervous about money without Melanie if that makes sense. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I can't wait for my money to be my own again. I think (hope!) that I have learned my lesson and won't be getting in this mess again.
