i had to write something for a brilliant ip.

i just wanted to say thankyou for getting me through almost a year of this iva. i have come a long way i know but i still get teary thinking aboutthe very first call when you took the trouble to call me on your day off-you were at home with your dogs and your family were at rugby-i remember ! you were so kind with your time and i cannot believe i am here.
there isnt enough i can possibly say- and this sounds mushy but its not meant mushy ![:p]
i just wanted to say thankyou for being there to help me fd x

FD I totally agree with what you say, Melanie is my IP too and a very fair IP in my opinion who in the two years of my IVA has helped me no end.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

She's not my IP either, but I do feel very priviledged to know her and count her a friend.

She is always there when you have problems, and even tries to help people who are not her clients if she can.

Long may she continue on the forum.

Dito, dito and dito, it is a shame that there isn't an award for this to be honest, or is there? Maybe someone can tell us.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

A nice well deserved post FD!

Melanie always finds the time to support regardless if you're a client.

She showed me such kindness when the IVA was failing, not only did she welcome me in her office but she also put me in touch with a lady who had been the BR process.

There are awards for IP's...not ssure if we can vote though. There'd only be one winner for me!

Excellent post FD!

There are awards, and I know she was shortlisted last year but unfortunately didn't win.

Don't think we are able to vote though.

Oh thank yuou all so much for your very kind comments. On a very depressing and cold winter's night in South Wales, facing a thrashing from the Aussies tomorrow, I can tell you that they have really cheered me up!

I remember our chat on that Saturday afternoon very well FD, and if you remember I told you that the first year was always the worst - so that said you should be feeling a little brighter right now.

Take care and don't do too many night shifts. Remember I know what you do for a living, and do continue to worry about your safety!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

We should also remember the other professionals who give up their spare time on here, Andy, Michael and Size5 to name but three.

They also deserve a mention.
