Hello. So pleased to have been budgeting recently.Rain has been pouring into my loft conversion, the walls are saturated, the paper peeling off.The excess is £150.This time last year..infact this time 4 months ago, I definately wouldn't have had the money. The credit card would have come out again. It's tight but I had it and even though the palpatations came back (they tend to when sudden money stuff comes up )I'm pleased to have the money.Cat 1

Hi Cat1,

Thanks for sharing your experience, it must be a really great feeling to know that you saved up and paid for something rather than just mindlessly putting the expense on your credit card.
Well Done [:D]
