First Direct have now told me to close my account

Hi, i have an IVA but my bank First Direct have now told me a year and a half into the IVA that i have to close my account on the 6th April, ive been declined by Natwest, Smile, and the Halifax, ive just tried the Abbey so im waiting for a reply, i desperatly need a bank account do you know any bank that will definately take me? many thanks Kerry

Hi Kerry
I opened a bank account with Yorkshire Bank and told them from the beginning about my possible IVA and it didn't pose a problem they were really understanding.
May be worth a try.

Think banking 0845 6343434 will accept you.They offer a maestro card and direct debits etc.Internet banking soon.There is a £12.50 monthly fee
