Hi

I dont very often post on here but am a frequent viewer. Next month I will be halfway through my IVA and cant believe how quick the time has gone, it hasnt always been easy, something always crops up when you least expect it. I have just finished my studies and am now qualified AAT ... yes its a great feeling BUT Ive decided not to go for MAAT, I have checked the forums on the AAT website and they appear to have issues with those in an IVA, plus the fact that I failed to let them know that I was in an IVA - didnt even cross my mind until I went to apply for full membership. No I dont think I have wasted my time studying, when I started I was in a different position and passing all my exams has proved to me that I am more capable than I give myself credit for. Onwards and upwards and Im looking forward to celebrating my 30th payment next month x

Congratulations! Accountancy is a great skill in any area of business and it will lead you on to bigger and better things with or without the membership. Their loss! x

I was doing CIMA and have never really needed to be fully qualified still jobs available all be it at a price now prob about 15k (in the North) less than 10 years ago but we got by . The regulating body are ok in some jobs I have read on here. You could get a good job which is not a regulated company and just needs an acountant, they don't check if you are in an IVA, thats how we managed. But to be honest they didn't even check my qualifications, if you work in London it will be lot different,, but usually companies are vrey flexible. My bosses know all about it but it is a small company. Good luck and very well done, x
ITS OVER WE ARE FINALLY DEBT FREE, CERTIFICATE ARRIVED
