Well we have finally made our last payment, YEAH.
It's been a long and hard journey, a total of 73 months.
Originally for 60 months which was extended to 72 months because we didn't have enough equity in our property.
Along the way we had a few problems but managed to make every payment and more on time apart from one. The only payment we missed was when our washing machine packed in and we had to buy a new one, that missed payment had to be paid back at the end because we obviously had no spare cash to pay it back during the IVA.
Anyway its done now and we are so relieved to have finished it successfully. [:D]
Now looking forward to receiving our completion certificate.
Just one question, how long do we have to wait before the original defaults are removed from our credit history?
Thanks

Congratulations from me too. The defaults should be falling off already as they disappear six years after they are registered.

I have just tried to get my credit report from Experian but cannot get it online because I cannot remember exact details of the credit cards/limits I had 8 years ago. Ridiculous.
Just done it through call credit (noddle), so easy. One left for me, should go in May. [:D]
