Possibly - but the creditors should no longer be contacting you. Once you are bankrupt, then you are no longer responsible for dealing with those debts.

Hi Go

Interesting one here given you are bankrupt in 1998 i can't see why they are chasing you and in any case the Statutory Limitation of 6 years would come in. This means that any debts unless they relate to fraud can no longer be recovered!

I suggest your creditors who are calling you are given the short treatment and if they continue to call you then report them for being a nuisance!

Welcome to the Forum Go,

Once made bankrupt your debts are handled by the court so your creditors should not be contacting you about this. I would contact whoever was in charge of your bankruptcy if this continues.
