Frugal Friends is a meeting of people who post on this forum, plus a few experts as well.

The experts sponsor the meetings, and food and drink are normally free. A lot of people also stay overnight.

You can have a chat to people with the same problems as you, put faces to names and make some good friends.

They are held at various places countrywide to accommodate everyone.

It's a good night.

What normally happens is that the FF meetings are advertised in a post with details of location and date and you just say whether or not you and other half will be attending.

Thanks John but I don't want to upset the powers that be by just organising a FF meeting without their sanction - I'll try and find out whether it is needed today and post back when I hear.
