Hi
been looking at the site for a while now and just getting documentation together for an IVA. Am completing paperwork. My children go by bus to school/ college soem 5/6 miles away. Cheapest way is buying a megarider- £8.50 each a week- over 39 weeks ( school year). Also school dinners- understand maxmimum allowed is £28 a month x 2 children over 39 weeks. This is what I spend- will this be allowed?
Also can I pay £29 redundancy cover a month- have just gone through reorganisation and sector I work in is very volatile at moment. Would this be allowed?

Hi JD230 and welcome to the Forum.
The guidelines are supposed to only be that and if you exceed them the IP must comment on this and if necessary seek evidence. Get receipts the next time or copies of the passes and this should be fine.

The redundancy cover should also be allowable as it not only protects you, but also the IVA payments if your income is fully protected. Speak to your chosen IP but I see no problem with anything you are listing as legitimate expenditure.

I would be happy to include all of those areas of expenditure if you were a client of mine. They all seem very reasonable and justifiable.
