Hi everyone
Well i haven't felt so drained since my dad passed away, i spent all last night looking for 12 months worth of robs bank statements, credit cards, loan agreement, life insurance, tenancy agreement. I also had to find the proof that I have paid for repairs to the car and have a vested interest in it. I had a long chat with Paul Johns as recommended by Melanie and I have to say he is brilliant and has suggested that in my letter to the OR i offer a payment of £500 for the car that my mum has offered to pay because if I hadnt repaired the car it would have been worth about £1000 and so I had no choice but to repair it or rob couldn't get to work.
I spent all afternoon photocoping anything that rob may need and also the life insurance policy and I am now shattered.
Hopefully I can chill out tonight and watch some telly.
Thanks again everyone.
jayne

Oh Jayne, I really feel for you. It's enough stress leading up to br without having to deal with all this. Hopefully, the £500 will be enough to satisfy the OR, I know how sickening it is when there is a possibility of losing your car when you need it for work and the kids etc, ours threatened it but then did allow it for hubby's work. Take a deep breath and put your feet up tonight, try to relax. Once Rob has his OR meeting, then you can start to get things together and hopefully you will start to see light at the end of the br tunnel.
Take care and you know where I am if you want a chat,
xx
It's nice to be back......

Good luck with keeping the car Jayne. When I spoke to the examiner she told me she didn't know if I'd be able to keep my car, that she would have to look into it - when I put the phone down I burst into tears. I was lucky as I had to ring her back and she confirmed the same day that I would be able to keep the car - I hope you and Rob are lucky as well x
