As my creditors meeting gets closer (6th April), i am getting more stressed and depressed. After reading many posts on this forum and how much people are paying in dividends, makes my proposed dividend of 17% looks extremely low!!! Currently studying my final level of AAT and have a Business Taxation in June, makes me think why put all the effort into studying when I could end up BR anyway. Its bad enough studying with a clear head and young children, without all this stress I am under at the moment. Just having a bad week and it does help to offload, apologies for the whinging.

Don't give up lull.

I can see how the stress will be bothering you, but it's not too long to wait now, and your IP must think that you stand a good chance of being accepted.

17% is better than nothing and no one wants your IVA to fail.

Concentrate on your studies (not easy I know), but the 6th is less than 2 weeks away now.

Don't worry about offloading, you know we are here to support you through this.

You offload all you like.

Thanks Kallis and Fergiedoggy.

Your messages of support have brought tears to my eyes. Nobody has ever told me they admire me, I have always been put down in life. I am doing my best to deal with this all on my own - my parents are old school and its my problem, I must deal with it. Cant believe just how lonely life can be on my own being a single mum of 3 lovely kids. Thanks

You hold your head up high now - you are doing really well and no one on here is going to put you down - far from it!

I think you are doing really well coping with all of this and three kids as well!

Know what you mean about parents though - I can't tell mine either, it would finish them.

Hi Helen,

Just wanted to add my bit......please don't give up the studying, you deserve a HUGE pat on the back for working towards the qualification. Stick with it and when you've passed your AAT you'll have a sense ofIachievemnet, no-one can ever take away. In additon you're bettering yourself for you and your children and I think thats wonderful. Studying whilst under the pressure of debt isn't easy, but try to think of the bigger picture....the debt isn't forever.

Your IP wouldn't put the proposal through if it didn't stand a good chance of getting through, so please don't stress. Remember an IVA is individual, so try not to compare what others are paying...we'll all be wishing you luck for 6th April xx

Nothing wrong with 17p in the £. If that is your best offer then this is a good offer and creditors would be mad to turn it down and see you go bankrupt.

I studied AAT many years ago - and wish you the very best of luck in the exams, which is where your main focus ought to be directed now.

Thank you all for your wonderful support. Its not long now Im trying to keep myself busy this weekend. I have been told to expect a phone call about 12 on Monday with the result, I shall be at work and stupidly I made a mistake of arranging to do alot with the boss on Monday - think I might be a little bit of a let down to her!!! She does know about my situation and has been supportive of me all through the financial scam I have been through. Once I know the outcome on Monday, hopefully I can then start to deal with the mental issues regarding this scam, as its eating away at me and ruining my life at the moment.

Helen, I wish you all the best for Monday. I will be thinking about you.

It's good that you have a sympathetic boss, so at least you can celebrate with someone (as I'm sure you will be celebrating).

I must admit that I took the day off when it was my meeting!

Thanks Jan. I would have taken the day off, but due to the end of financial year, I have deadlines to meet so there was no way I could do this.

It's probably better that you're keeping busy anyway - you don't have time to stress about it!
