I had my draft 24th November and it was DX'd back on the 30th .. creditors meeting was (instantly) arranged for today (17th December) (basically as soon as regs allow. So, it can be done. But, fret not, Lydon, the appointed day will dawn soon enough. Best of Luck.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I imagine Payplan will shut down for the whole of the Christmas period as they did last year.

Good luck with your meeting Lydon.

I have to say I'm amazed that a company the size of Payplan shut completely for Christmas.

Same here. It was shut for two weeks last year, I'm assuming the same will happen again this year.

How strange that such a big company would close down for the whole period. We are only closed for the bank holidays, but still supply a 24/7 support line for all clients if they need to speak to us - manned by yours truly on the bank holidays of course!!

You're a star Mel! I was disgusted with Payplan last year if you remember as I needed to contact them and couldn't.

I remember that Jan and I think it was appalling that you had to wait.

Mel, if I ever need an IVA (and I hope I won't but who knows what the future holds!) I'd definitely contact you. If I knew anyone who needed help I'd recommend you!

Thanks ladies - but at the end of the day I am just doing my job. There is nothing really special about that, and I don't think I could do it in any other way.

Melanie believe me you go above and beyond to 'just do your job'. Credit where it's due. (no pun intended). x

Creditors meeting at 11.00 this morning, my stomach is churning big time. God knows how my wife is feeling, because I'm supposed to be the calm one!!!

Well, at least no more waiting for you!. I'm sure you will be fine. Paypal will ring you to give you the result and hopefully then you can start your payments into an IVA. New Year - new start!, Very best of luck.
