I did discuss this with your Case Manager and she assured me that she would call you. Perhaps you could give her a call to see if they are prepared to reconsider.

Sounds very hopeful and keep us informed. They would be mad not to accept.

Hi all, my case manager just confirmed that my F&F of £5,500 has been ACCEPTED!![:p][:I] Phew…. Big thank you to Melanie and Michael, without your help I probably will end up in a mess and being depressed that I would not dare to imagine… What a relief!! I would NEVER EVER put myself and my kid in this IVA situation again! A real lesson learned. Thanks again Melanie and Michael!![:D] All the best!

Brilliant news and I always knew it was a very good offer. You can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy without the IVA hanging over you and make some plans for the future. Congratulations.

Michael, I can not say how right you are. My pregnancy has not been smooth at all and as a result I had to take early MAT leave in month 5. I need this extra money desperately! You both are my life savers!

Glad it worked out and the money is better off providing things for you and the baby rather than giving an extra couple of pence in the pound to your creditors. My daughter is now three months old and everything is so expensive. I even noticed the electricity usage has shot up probably because of all the boiled kettles, steamers and the tumble dryer. Still certainly would not swap her and I am sure everything will work for you and your little one in time.

F&F - fantastic news, so pleased for you. You can get on and relax now and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. I hope everything goes ok.

Let us know how you are getting on.

Michael - a tumble drier in this weather?[:D][:D]

It is p***ing down here and has not been dry since the weekend. It is really hot though so it could be my baby beer fridge working overtime and not the tumbler!

You've been very unlucky then - glorious sunshine all day here - done a load of washing and dried it outside (it is supposed to be awful at the weekend!) When I went to move my car this evening so it was closer to the building I work in, the outside temperature guage read 35, and it was still 22 degrees when I drove home at 10!
