In the process of sorting out but not actually made the offer yet, as soon as I have the letter from Mum and redemption figure then we're ready (IP has everything else)

Thanks for your help

Hope its sorted quickly then - then that dreaded wait for the "certificate" - then you can be truly IVA free.

For six months Hippo it's just not worth it - the variation meeting will take a while to set up and you will need to carry on making your payments in the meantime.

kitkat - I hope you can get something sorted out. I was replying to Hippo previously, sorry!!

Thanks Hippo, I was just frustrated people weren't helping/answering me when it was me that started the topic in the first place.

Considering the £500 ish it'll cost for the variation meeting to consider a F&F surely when you get to only 6 months to go its not worth it? I don't think the creditors would vote favourably as its not long for them to wait. I think they might be saying don't bother as its in your best interests.

I don't know if i'm being impatient but I sent everything through to my IP/IVA Company on 7th August and they're still reviewing the offer and as far as I know, a variation meeting has not been scheduled yet. Is this normal?

I don't think it's unusual. You can phone and ask how things are going.
