Hi Chris

Have you thought of e-mailing the IP? I'm sure he will wish to know about your problem.

Hi Ian,

No, I hadn't thought of that. I'll have to look through my file this evening. Do have any ideas what they may suggest if they are open to helping me with the arrears?

Thanks again

Chris

I too am with Blair endesby and have to send my wage slips every 3 months, after 6 months I received a 6 monthly review letter saying I had to pay %50 of my overtime which i did ,so am expecting same thing at 12 monthly review only thing thats worrying me is that at my 12month review they might take into account all my overtime and increase my monthly payments for next year, I have sent them a letter from my employer stating that my overtime is not gauranteed and can stop at anytime, its just that my %50 of my overtime has made first year managable and enabled me to buy my kids the things they need.

I honestly don't know what the IP will be able to do but unless you can get hold of the organ grinder it doesn't appear that you can make much progress.

As this appears to be a breach brought about, at least in part,by someone not doing what they should, I would hope that the IP would much prefer this to be quietly fixed by the next anniversary. It is definitely worth a try. Good luck.

Hi Hallway

So long as you are accounting and retaining 50% of your overtime ready to account to the Supervisor for the money, and you have provided a letter to say it's not regular, I can't see how they could realistically up your monthly payments.

Hi Hallway,

I didn't have a six month review for some reason. If your proposal is like mine, it references your average income after tax and NI for the the three months preceding the IVA. It then states that 50% of any additional income above this figure will be payable to the Creditors. If this is the case, I don't think they should increase your payments for next year.

Other than 50% extra I owe, mine have remained the same.

Thanks

Chris

I acknowledge that it is my own stupidity that brought this problem about but will try to contact the IP.

Thanks for all your help Ian.

Thanks Ian. I'll try, although I know it's mainly my own stupidity that has brought about the problem. I was just so relieved to get the IVA, I didn't read it properly at the time.

Thanks for all your help.

Hi Chris Iv learnt my lesson it was being so disorganised for years that got me in this mess and I swore I would never put myself through it again(nerves wouldnt stand it)so for the first time in my life I write budgets and stick to them lets hope next 4 yrs pass as quickly and relitively as painless as this year has.
