Hi I have started work while still in my 6 month period of being able to keep that amount of redundancy with 2 month left. Spoke to IVA company thinking I just paid them the excess of any thing over my net pay for the remaining months. But they have told me I have to pay the total of net pay they allowed me even though I’m earning far less. Surely this can not be right otherwise there was know point in getting a job if I’m going to be worse off ?

They are correct in that the remainder of the redundancy compensation retained is now due back to the IVA. Going forward you will need to do a new I&E to see if a lower IVA payment can be agreed.
I am not qualified to give advice and can only state my opinions, based on my IVA experiences.
