Is it wrong that I'm slightly dissapointed that since approved I have not had one single call?! [;)] I was hoping for just one chance to tell them rather smugly that we were now in IVA and that they were not permitted to call me anymore!

I know we have along road ahead but you have to take the fun from it where you can! [:D][:D][:D]

It's not wrong Til, we had just one call from Mercers on the day we were approved. It was the only time I ever answered a call from them. and I took great delight in telling them my news! They still tried to get money out of me though!

It's a great feeling once you feel you've taken control of your debts once and for all.

Even better when the calls stop, the letters stop and you get to live without worry of the next creditor contact.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

How cheeky trying to get money even though you'd been approved! Gotta hand it to some of them for sheer gall!!!

Well ironically after my last post hubby got call from Barclaycard just 15 mins ago - He gets all the fun! [;)] ... but it was from overseas call centre judging from the accent and bad line! They just said they would put the account on hold for 7 days until they got passed the info...

Must take a fair while I guess for all the offices involved to get the news but in the meantime I will relish any calls with a sense of relief at not being scared to answer them any more - yee ha! [:D]

It's brilliant!

What's even better is when the postman walks straight past your door without leaving any mail!
