Thanks Lesley and Barb.

I am typical of most women. I put my life on hold whilst my partner studied whilst working. Believe it or not he is part qualified accountant lol. Now he is in IT.
I did think of nursing........I think I have a goody two shoes side of me that feels there is more to life and I want to contribute and make a difference to other people - hence mentioning fostering/child minding/teaching.

Most of the studying I'm interested in would involve me reducing my current working hours which if IVA is approved would not be a viable option. I literally have all the paperwork/policies and some equipment ready in storage in relation to child minding. All I need is the children to mind. It is too much of an uncertainty to go into anything yet because I do not want to jepodise any prposal that Melanie will put forward.

Interesting though that so many people have change careers etc later in life. If an IVA is approved this year then I would be 34/5 when it is all over an done with! If only hey.

Hey Marie, I'm a big believer in re-inventing yourself. I'm sure you will be a child minder if that is what you want, even if it is at the end of your IVA. You sound like a very determined, lovely caring lady and I'm positive that all your dreams will come true. Viki X

p.s. you're still going to be my PA though...right? [;)]

How's ya head!

I have heard some excuses to excape work early but really[}:)]

I'm fine, been gardening all day I had just finished moving the rubbish bags when an almighty storm hit. I usually get soaked as it tends to rain as soon as I get the trowl out.

We both stood at the back door watching the lighting and rain - it was only when little T (our son) came skidding acroos the kitchen floor that we realise we were stood in a puddle where it had been raining in - Doh![:p]

Bored now! Just waiting for oh to get out of the bath so I can hog it for a couple of hours lol!

Off work tomorrow so looking forward to that[:D]

Keep smiling and watch your head![:D]

Hey Marie, what a great storm that was. The minute I walked out of work this afternoon it hit. I love it. Sorry, not so good for gardening though eh? I'm going in the bath in a minute too, I'm gonna soak until Lost and Desperate Housewives is on, love sunday nights when I'm not working. I'm off tomorrow aswell so hopefully going out on the bikes, I'm full of chocolate at the moment so need to burn it all off. Hope you dry out, enjoy your night. Viki X

p.s. I've got a huge lump on the side of my head but no-one else can see it...are they blind....it's HUGE! [B)]

We've been doing some gardening as well - it's actually starting to look like I want it to now!

We haven't had any rain here yet so Dave had to water the garden!

Water the garden?!!! We've had the biggest downpour ever here! Well, probably not ever, the funny thing was my Dad ran out with a fairy liquid bottle and a sponge and squirted the washing up liquid all over his car and then sponged it all, all while it was pouring! It took him about 60 seconds then he ran in and said "All done!" and went for a nap! Honestly. [:D] Viki X

Viki sorry but [:D][:D]

I bet I would see it, I would probably point it out as well lol[:D]

Only joking - you seem to bring out the worst in me lol.[:o)]

Skippy, I had a plan to spray weed killer (loads of dandelions) and put slug pellets down - noooooooooooo, couldn't cause of the rain Viki was right though it was good.[:)]

Glad your garden it looking how you want it. I like my garden to have loads of flowers in it. I have been naughty and bought a rhodedenron (can't spell it). It's called golden torch, pink then turns white.

I usually hate Sundays from about 6pm onwards. I end up running round making sure everything is just so ready for the week ahead - WHY?

I don't know why Sundays are any different to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc. I still have to go out to work the next day. I am mad!

Tell your oh he can gladly do my back garden I only tend to bother with my front cause everyone else can see it as well lol. What a snob hey[:I][:o)]

Ooh Barb, I love BBQ food, I haven't been to one for years and we haven't got one. It's all calorie free isn't it?![;)] It's funny, when I finish work on a Sunday that is the start of my "weekend" cos I'm off on Monday and Tuesday but then come Wednesday it's none stop working. I actually LOVE Mondays. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. Viki X

I bought a large hydranga as I thought it was a bargain - until Dave reminded me we've got nowhere in the garden to plant it, so we had to buy a bigger pot!

Unfortunately Harry thinks the nicely dug flower bed is a bit litter tray, but the antirinums seem to be thriving. I planted some asters and something that I'd never heard of today, so fingers crossed they survive being sat on, kicked, dug up etc!

Ah Skippy, it sounds like you really love your gardening. My Dad got me a little gardening book for Christmas so I'm really going to make an effort to plant some flowers and plants. I really wouldn't know where to start. I can mow the lawn and that's about it. The only thing with flowers is wasps....I'm terrified. Ruins summer for me really, I really am that terrified. X
