Hi

We are very fortunate to have substantial equity in our home, however we are both in our late 50's and my husband will be 60 next year.

We will need to attempt to re-mortgage next year - just wondering if building societies are lending to people in IVA's if they have good equity in the property or is the situation the same regardless? Thanks

Hi Tobymoz.

You are highly unlikely to be able to get a remortgage - we're in the same position as we have a lot of equity and hubby is now 65 and I'm 58 so that pretty much goes against us.

I think you'll end up doing the final year as will we.
