The last IVA payment has just left my account, it's a strange feeling knowing that I want to shout and scream to the world but most of the world doesn't know my news!!

To those of you just starting the IVA journey Best Wishes, the five/six years or so will fly and be gone before you know it. Facing up to my debts was the best thing I did in years, it has taught me a great deal and definitely made me a stronger person and more able to suffer life's slings and arrows.

Now, where can I stash £1300 a month???

Thank you to everyone on this forum, have a great day one and all

Hi, what a lovely post Ivoryfalcon, you can certainly share your news with us and I for one am striving to make a similar post in a couple of years.

Enjoy your increased disposable income and I sincerely hope your debt free future is a very rosy one.

I can think of a few things to do with £1300. Funnily the first one starts with H and ends in Oliday. I'm very jealous but will wish you (begrudgingly) congratulations LOL xx

Wow Congratulations!

As someone who is only just starting out on an IVA journey it is great to see people that have come out the other side fighting!

Thanks everyone, I only found this forum toward the end but the information provided by the experts has helped me with a number of important issues I've faced and for that I thank all of you.

People starting their IVA's with the back up of this forum will be far stronger and I believe their success rates will be higher.

Declan - I actually called DFD as one of my first calls, your company were excellent with me on first contact and helped me a great deal.

Keep up the good work and thank you for your help, it's much appreciated.

Great feeling isn't it! Your payments were more than mine, but I'm sure you'll soon get used to it!

I went out for a meal with friends when mine finished. And had a glass of wine, AND a pudding :) 1st time in a looooooong time!

Great to hear you're all done, just goes to show there Is always an end
