Hi, my IVA went into the closures department Dec 13th 2013 with an expected wait of 6 months for my Certificate of Completion. I have now been informed that due to PPI claims this in fact could take longer, but I was informed by EIC that the claims can run in the background and not effect the CC??? So could somebody please tell me as I am not getting a valuable reason from GT?
Also, if creditors do not claim from the IVA after completion and all the the other creditors debt has been paid in full, what happens to my thousands of pounds from PPI claims that they have?

Hi Dee and welcome to the forum

I don't think it is the place of the claims management company to give you advice about the closure of your IVA. This should be sought directly from your IP - and you can e-mail them directly if you need an answer to your questions

Any PPI monies recovered within the IVA will be distributed amongst those creditors who are bound by the terms of the IVA and have submitted valid claims.
