Quite an old one to revisit but I understand from other boards that people have been receiving letters re the recent transfer of old Egg accounts to Grant Thornton to administer. Guessing this is a question for the IPs - did Barclaycard buy the entire Egg Card portfolio, including the distressed & non-performing ones? Has anyone had difficulties resulting from this acquisition (and I guess other card portfolion aquisitions too)? Or are these portfolios segregated and typically dealt with by third party administrators? Thanks Seb.
